In Russia, tea is never taken with meals. Traditionally it really is taken following the meal or as a mid afternoon snack. For years and years, Russians purchased a tool called a Samovar to create tea. The samovar is normally put in the biggest market of the table after dinner and everyone gathers round and takes tea that they can dilute or sweeten because they like.
